José Jaime Villalobos is an International Law & Policy Fellow at the Legal Priorities Project. His current work focuses on advocacy for the reduction of global catastrophic and existential risk through international law and impact litigation. José holds a PhD from Victoria University of Wellington and an LLM (international law) from the University of Cambridge, which he obtained as a Chevening Scholar. He has held roles in government, academia, private practice and not-for-profit organisations, including Co-Founder and Chief Editor of the Costa Rican Journal of International Law.
