Lingxi Chenyang

Lingxi received her B.A. from Dartmouth College in 2014 and J.D. from Yale Law School in 2020. She is currently pursuing a two-year law fellowship at Indiana University's Environmental Resilience Institute. Lingxi is also a Global Priorities Fellow with the Forethought Foundation. Lingxi's research interests lie at the intersection of moral psychology, climate ethics, landscape ecology, and public and private law. She has published work on large-scale meat reduction as a federal climate strategy. Forthcoming projects include a policy article on incorporating trees on U.S. farmland and a law article on enhancing biodiversity in urban and rural spaces. Lingxi is currently researching how indigenous land use and property systems can help make U.S. agriculture more climate resilient.
